Beyoncé Sets Another Record, Has More RIAA Certified Titles Than Any Female Artist

Beyoncé just set and broke a new record!

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced on Tuesday, December 17 that the singer has the most certified titles of any other singer. It now has 103 RIAA-certified titles.

The Cowboy Carter the singer’s latest album earned a platinum award, while “Texas Hold ‘Em” is now certified 2x-platinum. The second single, “16 Carriages”, is now certified gold. Meanwhile, her previous album, renaissancereceived a 2x platinum title.

Beyoncé’s recent albums weren’t the only works that earned her new certifications. Her duets with Jay-Z – “Drunk in Love” (2013) and “Crazy in Love” (2003) – both went 8x platinum.

Songs and albums receive RIAA Gold certifications if they sell at least 500,000 units. Titles that reach 1 million units sold receive Platinum certifications. Multi-Platinum certificates are awarded for every increase of 1 million units sold. Diamond certifications are reserved for titles that sell 10 million copies.

The 32-time Grammy winner’s achievement follows the Dec. 16 announcement that Taylor Swift has received the highest level of certification and top album for her 6x-platinum LP for her eleventh studio album, Department for tortured poets.

Shaboozey took home the Class of 2024’s highest certification award after his single “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” went 5x-platinum. Billie Eilish has won the most certified titles in 2024, with a total of 10, with her latest album, Hit me hard and soft. His singles “Birds of a Feather”, “Lunch”, “Chihiro” and “Wildflower” go platinum, and “Skinny”, “Blue”, “The Greatest”, “L’Amour De Ma Vie” and “The Diner” ” becomes gold.

Beyoncé’s RIAA records follow her Nov. 8 Grammy nominations, which earned her 11 new Grammy nominations. The latest nominations make her the musician with the most nominations of any artist in the history of the Recording Academy — with 99 in total.

This year alone, the musician was nominated for Best Country Solo Performance for “16 CARRIAGES,” Best Country Duo/Group Performance with Miley Cyrus for “II MOST WANTED,” Best Country Song for “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM,” Best Country Album, Best Americana performance for “YA YA” and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “LEVII’S JEANS” featuring Post Malone.

Before the Grammys on February 2, 2025, Beyoncé will perform during halftime of the NFL Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens Christmas game. The performance will be streamed live on Netflix.
