Beyoncé Shares Sweet Tribute to ‘H-Town Sister’ Megan Thee Stallion for ‘Gracing’ Her Tour Stage 

Beyoncé Celebrates Megan Thee Stallion!

“My H-Town sister, thank you for honoring the RENEASSANCE TOUR,” Beyoncé, 42, posted on her Instagram account Thursday regarding the Sept. 23 moment when the rapper joined her on stage to perform their 2020 Grammy-winning collaboration. “Savage (Remix).”

“Until next time,” Beyoncé added alongside a carousel of pictures of her and Megan taken at Houston’s NRG Stadium in which the pair performed in the same camouflage print with thread and glitter.

While Megan, 28, strutted around the stage in a camouflage cap, Beyoncé danced around the pole in a tank top in thigh-high boots adorned with a military print.

The day after their show, Megan shared her own Instagram post celebrating the event. Alongside a video of herself posing in her stage camouflage look, Megan wrote: “BEYONCE I LOVE YOU 💙💙💙 HOUSTON I LOVE YOU #renaissancetour @beyonce GOOD NIGHT.”

On September 26, the rapper posted another carousel of footage from the show with the caption, “You’re a real Htown Hottie 🤘🏽🚀.”

She also shared a TikTok video of the stage spectacle, which includes footage of her crying with happiness at being invited to perform with Beyoncé.

“Yikes, I ugly cried lifting the lace all weekend lol, I’ll never stop screaming about this moment!” Megan wrote in a heartfelt caption. “Loved @beyonce ALL MY LIFE this means EVERYTHING to ME!!! I love you 👑🐝 thank you thank you thank you thank you for everything 💙💙💙.”

Both singers call Houston home, Beyoncé was born in the city and Megan grew up there after being born in San Antonio, Texas. The “Halo” singer proudly referenced Houston in the lyrics of her 2011 song “Run the World (Girls),” which included the line “This is how they made me (made me), Houston, Texas, baby.”

Meanwhile, in 2022, Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner announced that May 2 will be observed as “Megan Thea Stallion Day” in the city going forward.

At the ceremony honoring the “Plan B” musician, Turner said, “Megan Thee Stallion has had an amazing career as an entertainer, but we wanted to honor her for what she does offstage to uplift the lives of people in underserved communities.”

“She helped people after the winter storm of 2021, during the pandemic, and she helped those struggling with homelessness,” he added. “I look forward to watching her grow as an artist and humanitarian.”
