The singer dropped “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages” on Sunday.
Beyoncé fans, rejoice!
The music superstar, 42, debuted two new songs from his upcoming country-themed album on Sunday night.
The first track, titled “Texas Hold ‘Em,” evokes Beyoncé’s 2016 song “Daddy Lessons.” Lemonade album, and finds her singing, “This ain’t Texas / Ain’t no hold ’em / So ours lays our cards down, down, down, down.”
The single’s cover features Beyoncé wearing a metallic breastplate, complete with a black cowboy hat, large earrings and a black belt complete with a dangling silver heart-shaped piece covering her lower half.

The second track, “16 Carriages,” is another country-tinged track, with Beyoncé singing over a strong, rustic beat.
“Sixteen carriages drive away as I watch them ride my dreams away / To the summer sunset in the holy night / On a long detour, all the tears I find,” sings the mother of three in the song’s chorus.
“Fifteen innocents went astray / Had to leave their home at an early age,” she continues in the second verse. “I saw mama beg, I saw papa grind / All my tender troubles I had to leave behind.”
On the cover of that song, Beyoncé is photographed in black and white, wearing a black cowboy hat with her hair styled in waves.

Beyoncé’s latest offerings were announced shortly after she revealed she was her second act renaissance the album, the first part of which was released in 2022, will be released in March.
In an Instagram clip showing Beyoncé driving through the desert, she gave fans a glimpse of her new sound, before teasing the project’s release date.

The album and track announcements come after Beyoncé teased her list of “firsts” set to break the Internet in a Verizon Wireless commercial that aired in the middle of the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers Super Bowl LVIII matchup.
“Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages” are now available for streaming and purchase. Beyoncé’s new album falls on March 29.
