Bhakhtyar Irani is an Indian actor, dancer and entrepreneur known for appearing in daily soap operas and reality shows on Indian television. He gained recognition in 2006 after he participated in the second season of Star One’s Indian dance reality show Nach Baliye along with his wife Tannaz Israeli.

The couple first met on the sets of the singing reality show Celebrity Fame Gurukul in 2005. Gradually, they developed feelings for each other. However, Bakhtiar’s parents did not approve of their son’s marriage to Tanaz, because Tanaz was seven years older than Bakhtiar. In order to convince Bakhtiar’s parents, Dernaz and Paulus Irani came to the rescue and convinced the parents of their brother’s marriage, and eventually, the couple got married in 2007. Bakhtiar and Tanaz have two children. A son, Zeus Irani, was born on the 20th. In March 2008, daughter Zara Israeli was born on September 19, 2011. Bhakhtyar is the stepfather of Zianne, the daughter of Tannaz Israel and her first husband Farid Currim daughter.

- In 2016, while shooting for the TV show Badi Dooooor Se Aaye Hai, Bakhtiar had to shoot a sequence in which his fellow actors had to call him fat and comment on his weight. Although the scene was scripted, Bakhtiya could not accept comments about his weight, so he lost 20 kilograms and reduced it from 90 kilograms to 70 kilograms in two months. Bakhtiar said in an interview about his inability to accept any comments about his weight:
My uncle, who had to do dialogue in a scene, had to comment on my big waist and huge body. I asked Atish to change course because I’m not obese. He asked me to tone it down, but I couldn’t, so I started a two-month diet plan. In two months, my weight dropped from 90kg to about 70kg. I did it just to prove that I’m not fat, and no one can call me fat even in the script. “
