Bhupinder Singh aka Bhupinder Pritam Singh aka Bhupinder Singh Virk was born on Sunday, 18 May 1969 (age 54; as of 2023) in Kuan Khera village, Bijnor district, Uttar Pradesh, India. On July 1, 2016, during the shoot of Kaala Teeka, he asked for a makeup accessory. The store was closed at the time and he couldn’t get the items and refused to be photographed. He became angry and began abusing the production team, including 55-year-old production executive Rajendra Upadhyay. He later slapped Rajendra and was subsequently banned from shooting for three months.
Days later, he apologized to Rajendra and others, after which the Cinema and Television Artists Association (CINTAA) lifted his ban. Bhupinder later said that he did not hit anyone and that the matter was exaggerated; however, he was happy that the ban was lifted.

On December 3, 2023, Bhupinder Singh got into an argument with Gurdeep Singh, 60, of his village, over a eucalyptus tree The owner of a nearby farm. Bupinder allegedly wanted to chop down the tree and sell it, but Gurdeep argued that the tree belonged to him and Bupinder could not chop it down. Bhupinder got angry and shot Gurdeep, his sons Amreek, 25, and Govind, 23, and his sister Sukhvinder Kaur.
Govind Singh was fatally injured and later succumbed to his injuries, while Gurdeep and Amrik also sustained some injuries.
Gurdeep Singh’s brother Jeet Singh later filed a case against Bhupinder and three others at the Badhapur police station in Bijnor An FIR against aides Gyan Singh, Jeevan Singh and Gurjat Singh, who were subsequently arrested and jailed. It was later revealed that the revolver used by Bhupinder was registered in his name in Karagarh, Uttarakhand.
