BILLIE Eilish has accidentally started a passionate debate online over the colour of her trainers – with fans divided over what they see.
The optical illusion, which is similar to “the dress” debate, has split people down the middle as to whether they see the shoes as green and white, or pink and white.

She shared a photo over the weekend on Instagram of the shoes, saying her dad thought they were pink and white.
It turns out that the trainers are actually green and white – but many of her fans refused to accept this.
Billie herself was shocked with people who couldn’t see the true colour of her shoes.
She said: “I don’t know what happened to you in your f*cking childhoods, but pink and white?!?

“That’s what you’re going with? Pink and white? PINK AND WHITE?”
The shoes are actually listed as “mint white” online, which solves the dilemma, but many people were adamant still that they could only see pink.
One wrote: “HOW TF ARE THEY MINT AND WHITE AND NOT PINK AND WHITE!? IM GOING CRAZY. HELP.”
Another added: “Billie Eilish trying to tell me that her shoes are mint and white and not pink and white.”

The photo that sparked a previous debate over whether it was gold and white, or blue and black
The trainers dilemma harks back to the nation being divided over the colour of a dress spotted by a shopper.
Thousands of people saw the dress as blue and black – including Justin Bieber – while to others, including actress Julianne Moore, it appeared white and gold.
Nobody could decide on the colour of the dress, made by Roman Originals, due to an optical illusion in the way people see colours.
Previously, the Laurel or Yanny clip was driving the internet crazy and triggering ear-splitting arguments – so what do you hear?
Here’s a reminder of the best optical illusions to have swept the internet.
Another hilarious optical illusion to sweep the web is this badly-timed beach selfie.
