William Walter Douglas Howle, also known as Billy Howle, was born on 9 November 1989 (age 31 in 2020) in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England. In 2013, Billy graduated from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and made his television screen debut in the British TV series Glue (2014).

In 2014, he starred in the Broadway adaptation of Henrik Ibsen’s Ghosts, which surprised critics with its touch of dark things. Two years later in 2016, Billy played a villain in Witness for the Prosecution. In 2017, Billy made his film debuts in The Sense of the Last Days and Dunkirk.
