BILLY Ray Cyrus has filed for divorce from his wife Firerose just seven months after the two tied the knot.
The singers tied the knot in October 2023 after Billy, 62, finalized his divorce from Tish Cyrus in 2022.

Billy filed for divorce from the 34-year-old on May 22, according to documents obtained by People.

Billy is also seeking an annulment based on fraud.
The divorce stated that there are no children under the age of 18 among them.
Currently, Billy and Firerose – whose real name is Johanna Rose Hodges – do not follow each other on social media.
The two first met 12 years ago while Billy was filming Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel.
The country star previously recalled seeing the Australian singer for the first time, immediately noticing her star quality.
The two stayed in touch over the years and eventually got together, with the singer moving to Billy’s farm in Tennessee in the summer of 2022.
Not long after that, they got engaged, and they married just over a year later.
In an Instagram post shortly after their wedding, the two called their special day “the most perfect, ethereal celebration of love we could ever imagine.”

They shared three photos from the ceremony, in which they looked completely in love as they posed close together.
In February, the former couple gushed about their love once more as Billy celebrated Firerose’s birthday.
His Instagram photo showed them smiling next to each other, with the caption “The beautiful love of my life.”
Just a month before their divorce, Firerose shared more photos to commemorate their six-month anniversary.
“I married this man 6 months ago. Life is not always easy… but it sure helps when your husband is also your best friend. Thank you Lord!” she wrote alongside the wedding photos.

Billy’s recent marriage comes about two months after Billy’s ex, Tish, married Prison Break star Dominic Purcell.
Billy and Tish share five children: Miley, Noah, Brandi, Trace and Braison.
The two were married for nearly 30 years after his first marriage to Cindy Smith, which ended in 1991.
Tish filed for divorce from Billy in April 2022, revealing that they had already been separated for over two years.
The presenter recently opened up about her decision to leave her 30-year marriage, saying it left her crippled by anxiety.
“I thought I was going to be alone forever,” she told People.
“And that was one of the times I had a paralyzing anxiety breakdown. I joke about it and say I had a complete mental breakdown.
“There were 30 days when I didn’t eat, I didn’t sleep, I felt like I was just coming out of my skin. And it was really scary.”
