Billy Ray Cyrus Says a Photo Is Worth ‘1,000 Words’ as He Poses with Wife Firerose and Dolly Parton

He will always love her!

Billy Ray Cyrus took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a photo with longtime family friend Dolly Parton and his wife Firerose, captioning the post “1000 words. 🩷”

In the photo, Cyrus, 62, wore a cowboy hat as he stood between Firerose and Parton, 78, who wore a full pink pantsuit and leaned in for a hug.

Firerose — who married the musician in October — shared the photo on her Instagram Story, writing: “I’m more thankful for @dollyparton. I’ll Always Love You,” a nod to the star’s 1974 classic.

Cyrus also shared the photo on his Story, adding the words: “Between two angels.”

Parton is a longtime friend of the country singer, as the two became close while he toured with her in the early ’90s promoting his single “Achy Breaky Heart.”

“When Billy had the big song, ‘Achy Breaky Heart,’ well, we toured together. I was on tour and then Billy was on tour with me and we just became good friends because he’s a Kentucky boy, I’m from Tennessee,” she told SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show last year.

The two eventually became so close that Cyrus asked Parton to be his daughter Miley’s godmother after she was born in 1992.

“He said… ‘We’re having a little girl, and you have to be her godmother!’ And I said, ‘Well, I’d be honored,'” she told Stern. “Actually, Miley and I took over from there. We’ve just stayed very, very close over the years… I love Miley. She is my little soul. I’ve actually known her since before she was born.”

Parton and Miley Cyrus have collaborated several times over the years, including on a new version of the latter’s 2013 hit “Wrecking Ball,” which appeared on Parton’s latest album Rock star.

Miley, 31, has publicly praised Parton many times over the years, calling her “Aunt Dolly.”

Cyrus’ reunion with Parton comes two weeks after Miley won two Grammy Awards — and pointedly left her father out of her record-of-the-year acceptance speech.

“[Thanks to] everyone standing on this stage now… My mom, my sister, my love, my main gays because look how good I look,” she said. “Anyone else?… I don’t think I’ve forgotten anyone. But maybe I forgot my underwear. Greeting!”
