Blake Lively Jokes Her ‘2023 Memories’ Include Squeezing Into Gold Sequins ‘Way Too Soon’ After Fourth Baby

Faithful to her Gossip girl roots, 2023. Blake Lively was full of style highlights.

The actress, 36, shared one of her favorite looks — the spectacular sequined jumpsuit she wore to Michael Kors’ New York Fashion Week show in September — in an Instagram post on Sunday.

“Memories from 2023: Only @michaelkors could make me squeeze into gold sequins way too soon after having a baby. I love you MK✨🪩 ✨,” the actress captioned the post, which included several new pictures of the golden look.

Lively welcomed her fourth child with husband Ryan Reynolds in February. The couple also share children James (9), Inez (7) and Betty (4).

Also in the post, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants star gave a close-up look at the smaller details of the outfit, including a collection of fancy rings and a rusty manicure with polka dots.

The mom-of-four and founder of Betty Buzz debuted a gold jumpsuit, which she accented with a thin tan belt, at the star-studded Michael Kors show in Brooklyn in September.

Some of the actress’ other style details for 2023 include the Barbiecore ensemble she wore for support Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Costar America Ferrera in New York Barbie event, and the Chanel blazer and miniskirt she wore at the London premiere Renaissance: The Beyoncé Movie.

For special ones Barbie at the screening, the actress wore a feathered Oscar de la Renta minidress, which she paired with elbow-length gloves and a Judith Leiber bow clutch.

The Gossip girl the star also opted for hot pink pointe shoes by Malone Souliers and jewelry by celebrity favorite Lorraine Schwartz. She added one last pop of pink with fuchsia lips and wore her blonde locks styled in classic waves.

In an Instagram post highlighting the look, Lively called it “Loud Luxury” — a nod to the flamboyance of the pink cut compared to the ongoing “quiet luxury” trend, which applauds understated fashion.

To support Beyoncé at the premiere of her documentary in December, Lively showed some skin in a collarless Chanel jacket with silver sequins, a nod to the Renaissance Tour’s unofficial dress code.

Lively paired the blazer with a miniskirt, sheer black gloves and Wolford leggings, as well as a pair of Christian Louboutin platform shoes.
