In the whirlwind of glitz and glamor that accompanies the Super Bowl, Blake Lively managed to steal some of the spotlight this year with an unexpected fashion choice that took fans on a trip down memory lane.
Lively, 36, known for her impeccable style, rocked a red and white tracksuit from Balenciaga’s collaboration with Adidas, which launches in May 2022, which was strikingly reminiscent of the iconic red tracksuits worn by celebrities joyfiery cheerleading coach, Sue Sylvester (played by Jane Lynch).
Lively teamed the ensemble with a white cropped tank top, but instead of keeping it too sporty, she wore stiletto heels, a gold Tiffany and Co. jewelry chain. and voluminous curls inspired by the 80s.

As the Super Bowl unfolded, social media platforms erupted with chatter as fans were quick to notice the uncanny resemblance between Lively’s ensemble and Sylvester’s signature look. The actress, who is no stranger to turning heads on the red carpet, managed to inspire a wonderful wave of nostalgia among joy enthusiasts while at the same time showing her playful side.
“Sue Sylvester on weekends #SuperBowl,” one post at x of two next to each other was an inscription. “I still can’t see Blake Lively dressed as Sue Sylvester on #SuperBowl,” another post on X read.
Someone else wrote it x: “Someone said Blake Lively’s outfit looks like Sue Sylvester and I can’t undo that.”

In addition to nostalgia, fashion lovers also recognized the designer piece that Kim Kardashian wore not so long ago.

The founder of SKIMS, 43, did however carry a small silver bag.
