Bloodiest New Years’ EastEnders ever as FOUR characters ‘die’ with a bottling, poisoning and two rooftop falls

FOUR EastEnders characters were left fighting for their lives in the soap’s bloodiest New Year’s Eve episode ever.

The dramatic episode saw Nish Panesar enact his sick revenge plan against ex-wife Suki on her wedding day to Eve Unwin.

Viewers know that Nish was hiding in the basement of the Square, aided by his grandson Nugget, who became increasingly erratic during the morning of the wedding.

Denise followed Nugget and found him with Nisha – dressed for a wedding.

She confronted him, but Nish told Nugget how Denise attacked him last Christmas, leaving the teenager shocked.

Nugget left for the wedding as per Nish’s instructions leaving Denise alone with Nish.

She warned him that no one would believe a word he said and tried to leave, but Nish took a bottle of champagne and returned the favor from last Christmas, leaving her unconscious on the floor.

However, at the wedding, Nugget broke down and warned Dad and Vinny that Nish was coming, and they pulled him out of the car as soon as he arrived.

Apparently no one noticed that Denise, Ravi and Vinny were missing from the ceremony, and it went off without a hitch

Discovering that Denise’s life was in danger, Ravi left Nish with Vinny aka Jack who ran to try and save her.

Meanwhile, Suki and Eve escape from their own wedding to go consummate their marriage – and find two champagne glasses with their names on them ready to pour.

EastEnders’ Nish Panesar’s sick revenge plan revealed after shock comeback – and it’s bad news for Suki and Eve

Toasting each other and kissing, things took an incredibly dark turn when Eve collapsed coughing.

In a truly shocking turn of events, a terminally ill Nish overpowers Vinny and he shows up just in time to gloat about poisoning Eve.

“There’s no helping her, but it’s quick,” he told her.

“She’s gone now. You can’t do anything. And in a few moments, all your pain will disappear because you and I will join it.”

He poured more poison into two glasses for both of them.

Running out onto the balcony, Nish attacked Suki as she screamed for help, and Stacey went to help Eve and call an ambulance.

“I belong to Eva,” she told him as Ravi broke down the door and ran to help her.

“Let her go,” Nisha warned.

“You’re late,” Nish replied, dragging Suki to the edge of the balcony looking at the other guest.

“Eve is dead and Denise won’t be far behind. No one beats me, not even her, not even you.

“So how does it feel like Ravi? As Denise takes her last breath, her last thought will be of you – ‘why isn’t Ravi here?’ Why couldn’t he save me?’”

But as he spoke, she wrapped her hand around a strand of Suki’s dress and continued to pester Ravi.

He continued, “You’re nothing, just a waste of space. Son of a bastard since the day you were born.”

Nish Panesar: Death would be a relief (for us)

The Sun’s Soap editor Carl Greenwood finally celebrates the death of Nish Panesar

And the award for longest EastEnders death goes to… Nish Panesar.

Assuming he’s dead, of course, because he was terminally ill and had ‘weeks’ to live for what seems like a decade.

A weak heart didn’t stop him from overpowering much stronger people – but I guess we’ll just forget that because he finally became a villain we could all believe in.

Instead of pretending to be a physically terrifying villain, Nish finally showed that he had a brain and decided to use it for his revenge.

Denise fell victim to a sudden charge, Eve was poisoned, and Suki found herself dragged over a balcony by Nish’s own manipulations.

But not even Walford’s Rasputin can survive such head trauma, can he?

Just let him die, I beg you.

In an explosive rage, Ravi pushed Nish to his presumed death – but Suki was dragged away with him.

And with four lives on the line – was this the bloodiest New Year’s Eve EastEnders ever?
