mahut

There, he was tasked with finding and rescuing elephants in distress. In May 2017, he rescued and adopted a 3-month-old elephant baby Raghu in the Mudumalli Tiger Reserve, whose mother died due to electrocution. In June 2019, he rescued another baby elephant named Bommi (also known as Ammu) who had been abandoned by the herd in Sathyamangalam Tiger Reserve (STR). Later, Bhoomi was taken to Theppakadu Elephant Camp in Mudumalai Tiger Reserve, where forest officials tried to reunite Bhoomi with her herd. However, their attempt was unsuccessful. Following this, activist S. Muralidharan filed a case in the Madras High Court in an attempt to block the forest department officials’ attempt to reunite Bomi with the herd, as the move put Bomi’s life in danger. In the suit, Muralidaran also asked the court to order the forest department to place Bomi in a zoo or elephant camp. On October 24, 2019, the High Court bench of Justices M. Sathyanarayanan (retd) and N. Seshasayee ruled in favor of Muralidaharan and ordered the forest department to hand over the baby elephant to Bomman as he had the right experience in keeping it . Elephant because he also raised Raghu. The court ordered Borman to raise Bomi with “extreme care” and “in a safe manner.” Raghu initially finds it difficult to accept Boomi and often becomes jealous when Boman and Bailey turn their attention to her. However, Raghu later accepted Bomi as a member of his family.
