The Oscar winner, who turned 60 on Monday, celebrated his birthday on Tuesday night in Los Angeles with girlfriend Ines de Ramon and a group of friends – and we got to talk about his birthday form.
Pitt is brave – and we think so bold — the black and gold shirt was pointed at him. The western-inspired button-up top featured large gold floral embroidery and vines. But in order not to be excessive, he paired the top with simple black pants. It’s a definite departure from Pitt, known for its lighter California cool vibe, but in the spirit of the new decade, maybe this is a new era of style?

De Ramon wore a chic little white dress with spaghetti straps as Pitt’s escort for the night, teamed with black leggings, a white scarf and classic black Christian Louboutin pumps.
Pitt’s 60th birthday shirt may be the epitome of loud luxury, but the actor is no stranger to fashion moments. In February, while filming in New York Wolves, turned the sidewalk into his personal runway when he stepped out in a monochrome cream outfit, which consisted of a destroyed sweater and cropped fleece pants. He paired the look with a red tote bag and white sneakers.
The star is currently enjoying a break before returning to work on his Formula 1 movie, which PEOPLE reported Monday is continuing to shoot at racetracks, including Daytona International Speedway, in the new year.

The rare outing for Pitt and de Ramon, a jewelry designer, comes after a source told PEOPLE that the two plan to celebrate Pitt’s birthday together in a “low-key” way. The couple has been connected for more than a year, and they had their first public appearance together in November 2022, when they were photographed backstage at Bono’s concert in Los Angeles. At the time, sources told PEOPLE that they had been dating for “a few months.”
