Donna Kelce Is Having an ‘Old-Fashioned Bake Sale’ for Charity — Get Her Cookie Recipe (Exclusive)

Mama Kelce’s cookies serve a good purpose.

Donna Kelce, who brought homemade cookies to her sons Jason and Travis Kelce ahead of the Super Bowl earlier this year, is hosting an “old-fashioned bake sale” with her signature recipe. Through a partnership with Aramark Sports + Entertainment, Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles fans will be able to purchase Donna’s Chocolate Chip Cookies on Christmas Day at Arrowhead Stadium and Lincoln Financial Field, where the teams play.

“All proceeds from the cookie sales will benefit organizations chosen by the teams – the Eagles Autism Foundation in Philadelphia and Operation Breakthrough in Kansas City,” Donna told PEOPLE exclusively. “These two organizations mean a lot to my sons and it feels good to be able to support them in my own special way.”

Best of all, Aramark, which is the food and beverage partner at both stadiums, is matching the donation to each organization.

Cookies will be available at Arrowhead Stadium, Kingdom Lodge in Section 136 beginning at 1:00 PM ET and Lincoln Financial Field, HeadHouse Plaza, Club Markets, and Suite Level at 4:30 PM ET.

The recipe (below) is “an absolute favorite for me and everyone in the family,” she says. It contains milk and white chocolate chips, brown and white sugar, sweet cream butter, cinnamon, optional pecans and a few other ingredients that really make it a winner on and off the court.

“They’ve long been a holiday staple, so it’s very special to share a recipe that Travis, Jason and the kids love with fans during the holidays. I hope they enjoy them as much as we have over the years and get together in the kitchen with their families and friends to bake them, just like I do with mine,” she adds.

Donna plans to spend Christmas with Jason, his wife Kylie and their three children as the Eagles take on the New York Giants. “I may be stopping by one of the cookie stands at Lincoln Financial Field, so I encourage people to stop by and say hi!” she says.

Donna will be in Kansas City with Travis on New Year’s Eve as his team plays the Cincinnati Bengals.

“I embrace the holiday games and enjoy the special days with our soccer family,” Donna tells PEOPLE. “We’ll enjoy Christmas as a family another day. Santa somehow always managed to find families who work Christmas on another day.”

Mama Kelce’s best chocolate chip cookies

1½ cups sweet cream (3 sticks) 1½ cups packed light brown sugar 1 cup white sugar 1 large egg + 1 egg yolk 1 tbsp. vanilla extract 1 tsp. baking soda (dissolved in 2 tablespoons hot water to activate; microwave water first, then stir in baking soda to dissolve) 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup cake or cookie flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. cinnamon 1½ tsp. salt 1 cup white chocolate chips 1 cup milk chocolate

1. Melt the butter in the microwave in 20 second increments (don’t overdo it!). Pour into a mixing bowl or stand mixer. Let it cool for 15 to 20 minutes.

2. Add brown and white sugar to the butter mixture and mix for 4 minutes. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and add the eggs, one at a time.

3. Add vanilla and mix for 30 seconds.

4. Add dissolved baking soda.

5. In a separate bowl, add the all-purpose flour, cake or cookie flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt and mix to combine. Slowly add this mixture 1/2 cup at a time to the mixer, scraping down.

6. Add all the chocolate pieces and pecans, if desired, with a wooden spoon.

7. Put in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours; ideally overnight.

8. Preheat the oven to 350°.

9. Before baking, make sure the dough is at room temperature. Scoop the dough onto the baking sheet, leaving 2 inches between scoops, 5 minutes before baking.

10. For small cookies, bake for 10 minutes, or until lightly browned around the edges. For larger cookies, bake for 13 to 15 minutes. If you touch the top of the cookie and it bounces instead of sinking in, it’s ready. Every oven is different.
