Brandt Jobe attended UCLA and was a member of the 1988 NCAA Division I Men’s Championship team. In the same year, he started his professional career. In 1990, he dominated the order of merit on the Canadian tour. Furthermore, he gained membership in the PGA Tour through the Qualifying School in 1991, but only made five cuts that year. During one of his few shaky seasons, he won the Asia Golf Circuit Order of Merit in 1995.
