Braunwyn Windham-Burke got engaged on Saturday when fiancée Jennifer Spinner proposed, three months after The Real Housewives of Orange County an alumna asked her a question.
Both women shared the happy news on Instagram. Spinner proposed at their Tennessee home with the help of Windham-Burke’s four youngest children; Hazel, 5, Koa, 8, and 10-year-old twins Caden and Curren.
“Awww!!! I said yes!” Windham-Burke, 45, wrote on Instagram, captioning a photo of the two standing together, each showing off their rings. “Thank you [Jennifer]. I love you, I love that your children love you, I love how much you love them!!! I can’t wait to be your wife!!”
On her Instagram Story, Windham-Burke offered a closer shot of the ring, which she said was modeled after the one her father gave her mom. My parents are very much in love and somehow I wanted some of that love, said the reality star. “I want to carry it with me forever. And she did.”
“Jen listens to me when I talk and it’s such an interesting thing; I’ve never had that before,” added Windham-Burke. “I’m going to say something that’s special and she remembers. And that means a lot, it means a lot.”

“God, it’s been a tough time, but I’m the luckiest girl in the world right now,” she said. “I love you Jen.”

Spinner, 39, included multiple pictures from the special moment in her social media posts. Although she got down on one knee, Hazel was the one holding the ring. The children — four of Windham-Burke’s seven shares with soon-to-be ex-husband Sean Burke — also waved and showered the couple with confetti.
“Today I asked my best friend in the world, and my four littlest best friends in the world, if they wanted to make this little family we’re forming forever,” Spinner wrote. The past year+ has brought me more gifts than any person could ever deserve. With this team in my corner, life will never be boring, it will always be rich and it will always bring me to tears of happiness when I let myself soak it all in.”
“[Braunwyn] thanks GD for saying yes, because it would have been really awkward if the kids made that sign for nothing 😂,” Spinner joked. “I ❤️ you (everything) with everything I am.”
Windham-Burke and Spinner have been dating since July 2022, after meeting on Instagram.
To celebrate their first date, Windham-Burke surprised Spinner by proposing to her in New York’s 14th Street Park — steps from where they first kissed.
“I’ve never been happier,” Windham-Burke told PEOPLE at the time of the milestone. “Jen is my person. She once said to me, ‘How much do you love me?’ I looked at her and said, ‘It doesn’t matter how much I love you. It matters how little I love you. I love you on a molecular level.’ And that’s really it. My DNA was made for her.”

During their time together, the two women have taken many steps to show their affection for each other. They exchanged promise rings in January, exchanged vows in a Las Vegas wedding chapel on Valentine’s Day, moved to Tennessee together in the spring and got a pair of matching tattoos to mark their relationship in July.
An alternate proposal was the next step on the way to marriage. “I think it’s completely normal with queer couples, everyone changes,” Windham-Burke said on Instagram.

Windham-Burke, who got sober in January 2020 and came out as a lesbian almost a year later, is also mum to Bella, 22, Rowan, 20, and Jacob, 18.
The former Bravo star officially filed for divorce in October 2022 after 23 years of marriage to Burke. That divorce is expected to be finalized soon.
