Breanna Stewart, sometimes known simply as Breanna, is a professional basketball player from the United States. Stewart is a member of the Seattle Storm (WNBA) of the Women’s National Basketball Association. From 2013 to 2016, she led the UConn women’s basketball team to four consecutive championships. She was chosen as the Naismith College Player of the Year three times. She played for the high school basketball team when she was in the eighth grade. Stewart was also named the Naismith Player of the Year and a McDonald’s All-American in 2012. She was selected first overall by the Seattle Storm in the 2016 WNBA Draft and also won the FIBA World Championship with Team USA in 2014. Career

Breanna Stewart began her high school career as early as eighth grade, and as a sophomore started every game and increased her average to 22 points per game.
With a 22-3 record for the season, she helped lead her team to the AA state title while averaging 24 points and 15 rebounds.
It was her first career slam as she dunked the ball in the game against Baldwinsville.
She reached the milestone on January 31, 2012, when she scored her 2,000th point in a 31–0 run against Auburn.
She was named to the 2012 McDonald’s All-American Team, which included the top 24 female high school basketball players, as well as the 2012 Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-American Team.High School Coaches.
Stewart was named the Naismith High School Girls Player of the Year in 2012 and was named the Gatorade National Girls Basketball Player of the Year the following March.
