Following the arrest of her boyfriend Zach Bryan in Oklahoma, Brianna Chickenfry made a quiet statement of support for the country singer.
The social media star, whose real name is Brianna LaPaglia, posted a video on her secondary TikTok account of Britney Spears’ 2011 song “Criminal.”
In an untitled video, LaPaglia, 24, did not directly comment on the news of Bryan’s arrest — which happened Thursday night after an incident with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. he said in a statement shared on Xformerly known as Twitter – but he smiled and then lip-synched as Spears sang “mama, I’m in love with a criminal / and this kind of love ain’t rational, it’s physical.”
She also responded to several fans’ comments on the video, liking one who said: “I’ve been waiting for you to post something about this… I had no idea how iconic it would be.”
Another user commented, “something about orange has a new meaning,” referring to Bryan’s hit song from 2022, to which LaPaglia replied, “lmaooooo.”

Bryan’s arrest comes just days after he earned his first album No. 1, of the same name Zach Bryan.
After sharing an initial statement on social media in which he confirmed the arrest — “emotion got the better of me and I exaggerated what I said,” the statement read — he elaborated on the incident in the video shared on his Instagram Story and on Xu, formerly known as Twitter.
In the almost five-minute video, Bryan, 27, revealed that he was “still in jail” and described himself as an “idiot”.

After his security pulled over on Thursday’s outing, Bryan said he got out of his car to check on the situation after 15 minutes had passed and got into an argument with the officer.
“A cop walks up to me and says, ‘Sir, get back in your vehicle,’ and I say, ‘I’m not the one that’s going to be pulled over, like, what you—’ and he’s like, ‘Get back in your vehicle or I’m going to have to take to prison.’ And like a fool, I said, ‘You’re taking me to fucking jail? What do you think?'”
Bryan was eventually handcuffed and booked into the Craig County Jail. He was released hours later after posting bail, local newspaper News on 6 reported.
“I felt like a child, it was funny, it was immature, and I just pray that everyone knows that I don’t think I’m above the law – I was just being disrespectful and I shouldn’t have been. And it was my fault,” Bryan said of the incident.

Timeline of Zach Bryan and Brianna Chickenfry’s relationship
The “Something in the Orange” singer and LaPaglia first started dating in early July, which she revealed during an episode of her podcast PlanBri Uncut.
The confirmation came after sharp-eyed fans spotted similarities between her and the country singer’s activities in recent weeks.
“I think I might be able to solve something: I was hanging out with a guy named Zach,” LaPaglia told co-star Grace O’Malley.
When O’Malley asked for his last name, she replied “Bryan” and went on to say that they “started dating” about “three weeks ago.”
“It’s fun, it’s casual… I just wanted to address it because the whole internet is freaking out and people are doing s—.”
They first met at the 2023 ACM Awards in Dallas in May, and were both in separate relationships at the time. Later that month, Bryan announced his split from his girlfriend Deb Peifer on X, formerly known as Twitter.
It wasn’t until June when LaPaglia and she Bar stool Sport Co-host and friend of the podcast, TikToker Josh Richards, attended Bryan’s concert in New York and joined the singer on stage as sparks flew between the two.
She shared that he “slipped into [her] DMs” a few days after the concert, at which point she and her boyfriend broke up, and things escalated from there.

In August, LaPaglia told PEOPLE at the Streamy Awards that the “hate” she’s faced online post-relationship is nothing she can’t handle.
“It’s fun. It’s like I’m eating it,” she said, though she admitted that “it was a little crazy at first.”
“But now I realize you can’t buy love — or hate — online,” she continues. “You just kind of have to be yourself and see where it takes you.”
She added: “I wanted to stay silent as long as I could, but everyone on the internet is an FBI agent, so they got it all, and I said, ‘I have to get ahead of it, I have to say what’s right, what’s real, and what’s true. ‘, so I did it on my podcast.”
