Bridgerton fans have discovered new details in behind-the-scenes footage from the filming of Season 3 — and we’re definitely a little curious!
Footage of Nicole Coughlan filming her scenes for the upcoming season has been shared on Reddit, showing the star – who plays Penelope Featherington – in a gorgeous blue dress. Discussing the look, one person pointed out something very interesting when writing: “Penaraca wears a green outfit, this is the color you get by mixing yellow (her signature color) and blue. blue (Bridgerton’s color).”

In the new season, Penelope should have a romance with Colin Bridgerton, whom she has long loved. Revealing plot details, Netflix revealed that the third season will focus on Colin and Penelope, with Colin promising to help his friend find a husband in Ton’s society, but ends up falling in love with himself. As such, the outfit will definitely indicate the development of the couple’s relationship.
The show often uses costumes to highlight their characters, and season two costume designer Sophie Canale previously spoke about the color coding, telling The Hollywood Reporter: “We used different colors. for different families: lots of bright, citrus colors for the Featheringtons; the Sharma sisters are pretty special.

“Kate is a strong character, so I chose for her Indian jewelry colors, blue and purple, to reflect her country of origin. I dressed Edwina in pink, purple and lilac for her to wear. At first, Anthony Bridgerton was a lot darker than he was in season one because it was much more serious. However, Kate and Anthony share a color palette because they are on this journey together. and they get brighter as we go through the final scene.”

Fans have been eagerly awaiting news of Bridgerton’s third season following the massive success of the franchise’s spin-off, Queen Charlotte. The series is expected to be on Netflix in late 2023 or early 2024, but the streaming platform has yet to confirm when we can expect new episodes – so stay tuned this space!
