The tragedy occurred around 3 a.m. this morning at a four-star adults-only beachfront hotel in the San Antonio resort town called Hotel Vibra District.
Emergency services rushed to the scene but were unable to do anything to save the passenger due to the extent of her injuries.
The Civil Guard continued the investigation this morning, and the autopsy has yet to be performed.
A police spokesman said: “I can confirm that a 19-year-old British tourist has died following a fall at a hotel in San Antonio, Ibiza.”
A well-placed police source added: “Everything points to a tragic accidental fall.”
She is the second British woman to fall to her death on the Balearic Islands in a matter of days.
On Saturday morning, a 28-year-old British traveler died in a 15-foot fall at a hotel in Palmanova, near Magaluf, Majorca, after a night of partying.
The dead man’s partner had to be treated for a panic attack later in the day.
The incident took place at the four-star Reverence Mare hotel in Palmanova.
The alert was raised at around 7am on Saturday, although the hiker is believed to have died several hours earlier.
Civil Guard investigators believe he suffered a fatal accident after trying to enter the wrong hotel after a night out and partying and getting lost while trying to take a shortcut.
