Jackson attended Bradley Central High School in Cleveland, Tennessee, and was a WBCA All-American. She played in the 2001 WBCA High School All-America Game, scoring five points. She played collegiately for Pat Summitt at the University of Tennessee. Jackson is a 6’0″ (183 cm) guard with a knack for shooting threes. She was a member of the Tennessee Lady Volunteers from 2001 to 2005, where she helped her team reach the NCAA Women’s Division I Basketball final four all four seasons and the national title game in 2003 and 2004.
