Brittany Mahomes Posts Adorable Family Photos on the Field After Tough Chiefs Loss

Brittany Mahomes puts a festive spin on her game day style.

The 28-year-old spent Christmas cheering on her husband, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, as his team took on the Las Vegas Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

Even though the game ended in a Chiefs loss, Brittany didn’t let that stop her from wishing her fans a Merry Christmas on Instagram. She shared a gallery of photos from the day, showing off the sweater and Santa hat she wore while carrying daughter Sterling, 2, by her side. Their son Bronze, 13 months, joined mom and sister in the stadium suite.

In another photo, Brittany was carrying Sterling in the hallway of Arrowhead Stadium. She also included a picture of herself with Patrick before kick off. Brittany’s Santa hat had Patrick’s number, 15, stitched on it, while Sterling’s hat had “KC” stitched on it. (Fellow Chiefs superfan Taylor Swift wore a similar one, with boyfriend Travis Kelce’s number, and could be cheering in the box alongside Brittany.)

While her husband may be making big plays on the field, Brittany is doing something of her own in the stands, thanks to her on-trend game day looks. The mom of two has become a style standout in the NFL world with a little help from her famous friend Taylor Swift, who always turns heads when she attends Chiefs games in support of beau Travis Kelce.

From casual to dressy, Brittany is always in the mix. At the Chiefs-Patriots game on Dec. 17, she wore her most stylish look yet, a black miniskirt with a matching turtleneck and black thigh-high boots. She topped it with a heavy ivory coat with “Mahomes” written in black letters on the back. Adding a pop of color, she carried a cherry colored Dior box bag.

Last month, Brittany opted for a sportier look that showed off her team spirit. As she cheered from the sidelines – and even gave her husband a good luck pat before kick-off – Brittany wore white trousers detailed with pockets, red patches and her husband’s number emblems. She combined the pants with a fitted white sweater top and a puffy white jacket.

Ever since Swift, 34, started dating Kelce, also 34, Brittany and the “Karma” singer have been spending a lot of time together, whether they’re watching the action on the court from the stadium suite or enjoying a night out on the town with friends. The two were even spotted shaking hands specially at the Chiefs-Chargers game in October.

However, Brittany recently opened up about how all the newfound attention she’s received has sparked trolls on social media. In a post on her Instagram Story on December 19, the current owner of KC said there has been a significant increase in negative comments she has received on the popular app.

“Recently there have been MUCH ruder– people here, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa[sic] normal,” she said.

“I’m not sure where you came from, but you should probably go back to where you came from… please,” she added.

Brittany also talked about dealing with the glare of the Netflix docuseries Backsaying it was something she had to adjust to when Patrick — who she started dating in high school — was first drafted in the 2017 NFL draft.

“I wasn’t ready for this,” she said of the attention on the couple. “And at such a young age. We were in love and I loved him with all my heart. But, you know, I didn’t expect it to jump so quickly, and that we would be thrown into the fire like this.”
