Bronwyn Newport dress for upcoming The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City the reunion show will look very familiar to fashion lovers.
The reality TV star, who just finished her first season as a Housewife, shared on Instagram on January 9 that her look for the reunion show belonged to Karlie Kloss. But it’s not just any dress from Kloss’ closet, it’s one of the model’s former Met Gala dresses.

Newport actually managed to get Kloss’ Carolina Herrera dress from the 2021 Met Gala for the show — but she didn’t just borrow it, she bought it.
“The reunion is coming! So grateful to @wesgordon and @carolinaherrera for taking Karlie Kloss’ actual Met Gala dress from their archives and tailoring and selling it to me for both the big day and my collection,” Newport wrote on Instagram. “The dress on the Met Gala carpet was meant to symbolize the American flower, the rose at the In America: A Lexicon of Fashion event. For me, it was a symbol of my hope for friendships to blossom in the future after watching each other during the season, As Long as We Can Pass Each Other through the thorns, I also wanted to end my first season the way I started it… in big red shoulders!”

She shared several photos of herself getting ready for the dress and tailoring it to fit her so she can add it to her wardrobe and wear it for the Season 5 reunion.
Much like Kloss, Newport, 39, carried a rosette-embellished clutch with the look, but paired her dress with strappy red heels, while the model wore black for fashion’s biggest night.
For the 2021 event, Kloss wore a red dress designed by Wes Gordon, creative director of Carolina Herrera. The theme that year was In America: The Lexicon of Fashion, and it was all about celebrating America. The dress code was “American Independence”.

It should come as no surprise that Newport actually bought a designer dress for the reunion show. Christian Siriano revealed last October that Housewife is the only one in his experience who is willing to actually spend “real money”. He even called her his “customer number 1”.
The confession, which was in the episode Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen he was prompted when host Andy Cohen asked the designer if he had ever dressed a housewife. “I mean ever? Perhaps. But listen, they’re not on my list because first of all, they don’t pay,” Siriano admitted, which shocked the audience, as he’s known for furnishing the who’s who of Hollywood. “They don’t!” he confirmed.
