Brooks Nader turned something old into something new.
The model, 27, has recently been seen multiple times wearing a ring with a large pear-shaped diamond in the middle, fueling engagement rumors between her and boyfriend Gleb Savchenko.
However, in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE, Nader says that the jewelry is not from a proposal, but a new ring that she bought herself.
“Why should guys have fun? This is my divorce ring—a nine-carat offset pear on a simple gold band—that I designed with my longtime jeweler, Ring Concierge,” she says.
“It’s my way of celebrating the next chapter of my life. Women deserve to buy themselves something fabulous just because, so why not a sick divorce ring?!” star — who also repurposed her engagement ring from ex Billy Haire into a ring on her little finger — continues.

DWTS‘ Brooks Nader Says Gleb Savchenko ‘Arranged’ Pole Dance Class To Help Her ‘Feel Confident’ (Exclusive)
Nader wore the ring for the first time on November 24, when she left Dancing with the stars rehearsals. She and Savchenko (41) were previously paired in a competitive reality series.
The Sports Illustrated the model then stepped out also wearing a black leather jacket, Bottega Veneta aviator sunglasses and chunky geometric earrings.

A few weeks later, on December 27, Nader wore the bling again as she was photographed with Savchenko at a restaurant in West Hollywood, California.
For the outing, Nader wore a sheer top with a striped skirt and matching striped jacket, as well as other more casual accessories with the diamond piece, including a gold “ride or die” ring inside a horseshoe and another gold band around her pinky finger.

Brooks Nader on ‘defining’ her relationship with DWTS‘ Gleb Savchenko and Why She Exposed His Breakup Text (Exclusive)
Rumors that Nader and Savchenko were dating first started when they were spotted kissing backstage DWTS. The duo continued to post raunchy videos on TikTok and even got tattoos.
Nader and Savchenko then parted ways in October, following their elimination from the DWTS. A source then confirmed the news to PEOPLE, and Nader revealed in an exclusive interview that the breakup stemmed from a message Savchenko sent her at the end.
However, the pair reunited, and Nader opened up about her relationship with Savchenko in an interview with PEOPLE earlier this month. “Listen, he’s such a great person and a great guy and I’ve loved getting to know him and he’s fun to hang out with,” she said.
The duo then marked their first Christmas as a couple earlier this week. Savchenko shared a post on Instagram that included a photo of him hiking outdoors with his daughter, as well as a video of him kissing Nader.
“I don’t need anything else ♾️,” wrote the dance professional in his description on social networks.
