‘Bruised’ Meghan Markle ‘desperate to have her say’ & ‘correct the impressions’ after Kate backlash, claims royal author

MEGHAN Markle is “desperate to speak her mind” after Omid Scobie’s fantasy book Endgame, according to the royal author.

Tom Bower claims Meghan has been left “devastated” by the backlash caused by the book, which has been described as a “gratuitous attack” on Kate Middleton, and wants to write her own memoir.

Speaking to Closer, the royal author said: “As she feels more and more bruised as the year goes on, Meghan will want to speak her mind.

“Although Scobie was a disaster, she will want to correct impressions [that she collaborated on the book].

“Meghan and Harry’s despair will only get worse in the new year.”

Cruel accusations in Endgame included the royal family “treating Kate like a child” and him comparing her to “Stepford royalty”.

In an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, the Sussexes alleged that an unnamed member of the royal family had spoken about their son’s skin color – a story that appears to have changed several times.

Endgame claims the Duchess of Sussex named two family members in private letters she wrote to the king.

While UK law prevented him from being named in the English version of Endgame, the names were included in the Dutch version, which was quickly pulled from the shelves.

Meghan and Harry have yet to speak out about the book or condemn its content – although Tom said he has “no doubt” that Meghan “fed” Omid Scobie ‘royal racist’ names.

Omid denied being friends with the duchess, but said he had “mutual friends” who help him with information for books.

Royal fans have been wondering if Meghan will write her own memoir, after Prince Harry published his book Spare last January.

However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to be hoping for a fresh start this year, following the backlash last year following their Netflix documentary and Harry biopic, Spare.

Despite this, royal expert Phil Dampier told Fabulous that “redemption” is unlikely for the Sussexes.

He added: “She [Meghan] she’ll probably relaunch with some sort of Gwyneth Paltrow-esque lifestyle business, and let’s hope she goes that route rather than writing her own book, which would be another bombshell for all concerned.

“She’s obviously planning big things for herself, maybe in film or TV production, or even some acting.”
