Ron Howard celebrates a milestone birthday with well wishes from daughter Bryce Dallas Howard.
On Friday, Jurassic World Dominion the actress posted a sweet throwback Polaroid of herself and Ron from when she was just one year old, on his shoulders.
Maybe even cuter? Matching shirts worn by Ron and his daughter, 42, with “DAD” and “BRYCE” written on it.
“Happy 70th birthday Daddio! I love you SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!,” she wrote.

On Friday, Ron took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a video of him and his wife Cheryl Howard acknowledging the many followers who wished the actor and filmmaker a happy birthday.
“Hey everyone, Cheryl and I are getting ready for our early morning walk,” Ron he said in the videobefore Cheryl playfully added, “He’s 70 — he just turned 70.”
“It’s my birthday today, I picked up my phone and noticed a lot of good wishes on Twitter and Xu. Lots of happy birthdays coming from you guys,” shared Ron.
“They said it before I did,” Cheryl joked.
“Thank you, thank you for that,” said Ron. “And as I reflect on my life here on my 70th birthday, I also remember how much support you’ve given me, my work. It’s been a lifetime and I’ve loved it. I still do.”

“You’ve seen the old and new series, the movies I’ve made — I hope you’ll see the movies I continue to make and plan to make and the work that comes from Imagine Entertainment — it’s really a pleasure to be able to live this life and do this work and thank you for being supported him during these years,” he added.
“We’re going for a very long walk,” Cheryl added, making Ron laugh.
“Birthday walk,” he said.
Double Oscar winner for his 2001 film A beautiful mind, Ron first met his wife Cheryl in high school in California. The couple married in 1975 and have four now grown children: daughters Bryce, Jocelyn Carlyle and Paige Carlyle, as well as son Reed Cross.
