Calista Flockhart Says Harrison Ford Supports Her in ‘So Many Ways’ (Exclusive)

Calista Flockhart walked Feud: Capote vs. Swans solo on the red carpet on Tuesday night, but she tells PEOPLE that her husband Harrison Ford supports her in “so many ways.”

Flockhart, 59, who plays Lee Radziwill in the television series, stepped out at the Museum of Modern Art in New York wearing a floor-length Zuhair Murad black and white dress, following the night’s black and white theme.

The red carpet appearance came after Ford, 81, thanked Flockhart for her “support” in an emotional speech at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards on January 14.

When asked how Ford supports her, Flockhart tells PEOPLE that he does so in “so many ways,” adding, “He’s very supportive. It’s a mutual thing.”

Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart Relationship Timeline

Ford and Flockhart had a glamorous outing together at the recent Apple TV+ Primetime Emmy Awards. For the event, Super girl The alum wore a black pantsuit with a matching black sequin jacket. She completed the look with a navy blue clutch and the same Buccellati earrings she wore to the awards. Her husband wore a classic black tuxedo with a black tie.

The two actors are no newcomers when it comes to a night out at the awards. The couple began dating after meeting at the 59th Golden Globe Awards in 2002; the couple married eight years later, in 2010, after Ford proposed to her on a family vacation the year before.

Before their relationship, Ford was married twice and fathered four children. He later adopted Flockhart’s son, Liam.

“I’m in love,” Ford said of Flockhart in a 2003 interview. “Romantic love is one of the most exciting and fulfilling kinds of love, and I think there’s potential for it at any stage of your life. It didn’t surprise me that I managed to fall in love, and it didn’t surprise me that I did it.”

Feud: Capote vs. Swans is the season of the anthology series following the debut season in 2017 — and such Bette and Joan, this story is based on a real-life drama. In the trailer released by FX on Wednesday, Capote (Tom Hollander) explodes his own social circle by writing an exposé about his powerful and privileged friends. The so-called “Swans” company quickly cut him off and put a target on his back.

Produced by Ryan Murphy, the limited series features a strong cast portraying the elite class of glamorous, wealthy women in 1970s New York, with Flockhart as Lee Radziwill, Chloë Sevigny as CZ Guest, Diane Lane as Nancy “Slim” Keith, Molly Ringwald as Joanne Carson, Naomi Watts as Babe Paley and Demi Moore as Ann Woodward.

The entire cast dressed in black and white Tuesday night to celebrate the series, which premieres Jan. 31 on FX.
