“You know what? I love that man, I love him,” Cabello told Alex Cooper on Wednesday’s episode of ‘Call Her Daddy’
Camila Cabello talks about her recent trip to Turks and Caicos with Drake.
The “Crying in the Club” singer (27) spoke viral photos of her jet-skiing with the rapper in Turks and Caicos in December. In an interview for Call her dad podcast on Wednesday.
“You were on vacation … with Drake,” Alex Cooper told Cabello, asking her if the two stars “were ever a thing.”
But Cabello laughed and explained that it’s not just a vacation.

“Well, first of all, I wouldn’t say just a vacation. It was a vacation plus a little work,” she said, adding, “But I will say, you know what? I love that man, I love him.”
“We all love that man. The internet has been loving him a lot recently,” the host, 29, responded, referring to a leaked NSFW video that went viral last month that appears to feature the rapper, 37, according to Uproxx.
Cooper then doubled down on Cabello asking if she and Drake were romantically involved to which the “Havana” artist gave a cheeky response: “Have I ever had a thing? A beautiful artistic collaboration with him? Maybe I did or maybe I didn’t.”
Cabello called their excursion “a trip of friends.”
“I love him so much, and I really listened to him a lot during the writing process for my album, and I really thought he would like my album… So I sent him a DM and I said, ‘Hey, I’d love to play my album for you. . Honestly, I have a feeling you’d like him a lot.’ Because I listen to him a lot and I really feel like we like the same things musically in a lot of ways,” she said.
Cabello explained that they hung out and that he “loved” her album.
“It was such a surreal moment playing Drake my songs,” she said. “It’s another one of those things where it’s like, wow, I never would have expected this to happen. It’s a dream. And he’s so generous and so kind.”

Cabello continued, “Honestly, I’ll say I love him. And that’s been such a fun part of this experience.”
The former Fifth Harmony member recently deleted her Instagram, indicating her new album era is on the way, as she showed off her new platinum hairdo and began posting moody new photos, seemingly teasing new music.
Cabello also recently talked about her next album — her first since 2022 Familywhich has yet to be published — in a new interview with kitty kitty, saying, “I think it’s part of some sort of reinvention.”
