The rep also added that “Camille and her [mother] both suffered from ‘genetic’ cancers and have been fighters for the cause for the last decade.”

Months before Donatacci’s death, Grammer spent her 54th birthday at her mom’s bedside while she was being treated for cancer and shared an update on her condition on social media.

“For my birthday, I spent a few days with my family,” she wrote alongside pictures of the visit. “It was a special birthday for me that I spent that time with my mother, who has been fighting kidney and bladder cancer for years.”

“She was first diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer at the age of 47. With the help of her amazing doctors, she is still with us,” added Grammer. “Her 75th birthday is September 19. Bless her for not giving up years ago.”
