Can Taylor Swift Make It to Super Bowl 2024 to Watch Travis Kelce? How Her Tour Aligns

Taylor Swift could soon become a pop superstar and time traveler.

Following the Kansas City Chiefs’ win against the Baltimore Ravens on Jan. 28, fans are speculating if the Grammy-winning artist will head to Las Vegas to cheer on her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his team during the 2024 Super Bowl.

Swift’s arrival wouldn’t be a surprise, as she’s already attended 12 games since September 2023 — however, an appearance at the Big Game would mark an incredible feat for the touring singer, as she’d have to travel from her show in Tokyo to make it in time for kick-off within 24 hours.

However, traveling abroad is not an impossible task for a couple with a busy work schedule. Kelce proved that to be true in November 2023 when he flew to Argentina to support Swift on the Buenos Aires leg of her Eras Tour.

Swift also flew across the country to be with Kelce at games between shows. The latest string of games worked to support the hitmaker’s schedule amid her break from touring — but now, travel logistics are getting a little more complicated as her Eras Tour kicks off again in Japan.

Swift’s appearance at the Super Bowl in February would follow her presence in the game that secured the Chiefs back-to-back AFC championships. The singer joined Kelce on the court for the first time after the game, and celebrated his victory with a kiss.

Despite the 12+ hour flight from Asia to North America, Swift has the time zones on her side, which could allow her to arrive at Super Bowl LVIII in time to cheer on Kelce and the Chiefs at the game.

“Let me introduce you to something called the international date line,” NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport wrote in post on X (formerly Twitter) on Jan. 28, breaking down the logistics of the singer’s trip.

The International Date Line is a globally used imaginary line that runs between the North Pole and the South Pole. It serves as a boundary separating two consecutive calendar dates around the world.

Swift’s concert is scheduled for 6 p.m. local time in Tokyo, which is 1 a.m. Las Vegas time. Tokyo is 17 hours ahead of Las Vegas; therefore, Swift will save time on the way from show to game.

“Let’s say it’s a five-hour concert, it ends around 11 p.m. locally, which is 6 a.m. Saturday in Las Vegas,” Rapoport continued to explain on X. “Imagine a 12-hour flight, maybe she leaves about an hour later, Taylor Swift was still able to make it to the Super Bowl, in Vegas, around 7 or 8 p.m. Saturday night – just in time for the party.”
