Candace Cameron Bure Says She 'Can't Wait to Be a Grandma' After Son Lev's Wedding, but 'No Pressure' (Exclusive)

Candace Cameron Bure is excited to one day become a grandmother — but on her children’s terms.

Almost eight months after her son Lev Bure (24) got married, Full house actress tells PEOPLE she “can’t wait to be a grandma,” during the red carpet at 90s Con in Daytona Beach, Fla. on Saturday, September 14.

But, Candace clarifies, “I don’t know when it’s going to happen — there’s no pressure from me.”

When that happens, she says, “Babies are the best, so I just want cuddles and kisses, and chubby little legs, hands, and feet to chew on.”

Lev married Elliott Dunham in January, after which Candace – who also has daughter Natasha, 26, and son Maksim, 22, with husband Valeri Bure – shared a series of photos from the outdoor wedding, writing: “Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Lev Bure 💍 ♥️.”

She went on to reflect on how blessed she felt to witness her son’s wedding: “Words cannot describe the joy we felt this weekend celebrating the wedding of our son and his bride Elliott. We have a beautiful daughter and a wonderful family to live with. My heart is so full ♥️♥️♥️.”

Speaking to PEOPLE on Saturday, the proud mom says, “I love his wife so much. It’s so fun to see them grow together in their marriage and they’re super happy.”

She adds: “And they live 10 minutes from us, so we still see them every day. It’s mom and dad’s dream.”

The following month, Candace revealed to PEOPLE at the Movieguide Awards Gala in Los Angeles what her most special memories of Lev’s then-recent nuptials are.

“Oh my god, the whole thing was amazing,” said the mum-of-three. “I’m the groom’s mother, so it was the highlight of my life.”

She then added: “It was fantastic, but I would just say the actual ceremony was so beautiful.”

As for the relationship between Lev and his now-wife Elliott, “they’re so in love,” Candace noted, adding that her son’s relationship with his wife “warms my mom’s heart.”

90s Con Florida runs through Sunday, September 15th at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.
