Cara Banks News

After earning her degree from the university, Cara continued the sporting tradition in her family by pursuing a career as a golf and sports event reporter. She began working as a producer’s assistant for IMG Media’s division. She did not have time because of the job because it required travelling and covering golf competitions.

Later, she switched to reporting for Sky Sports in England’s Golfing World. She also made contributions to @TheOpenLive, a broadcast of the open tournament, at this time. She has also contributed to Taste Festivals, Wimbledon, the London Olympics, the World’s Strongest Man (2013), and the 2012 and 2013 editions of those events.

She has covered numerous big sporting events, including golf, throughout the years. She was offered the position of co-hosting the Golf Channel’s Morning Drive in 2015 as her journalism expertise grew. In 2017, she presided over the World Golf Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. She covered the 2018 Ryder Cup.

Cara’s media career took off when she relocated to the United States and started conducting interviews with well-known athletes for the Golf Channel. She previously held a position with Sky Sports Golfing. She is also highlighted by NBC Sports. Throughout her career as a reporter, she has covered all the main golf sports. 2017 saw her chosen to preside over the World Golf Hall of Fame event.
