A fan then responded to her post: “He’s the father of your children. Stop.”
In response, Cardi wrote, “Yeah he is so I don’t wish him dead… but I really hate this dirty narcissistic shit… And his family and friends never check on him so he will always be a part of s- — persons.”
When another user responded to her initial post and said, “Yeah, you still love him,” Cardi clapped back, writing, “No, I don’t [sic] to get hit by a fucking truck … He’s really just a dark cloud in the life of everyone he walks into.”

Cardi’s series of posts on X comes on the heels of her second filing for divorce from Offset on July 31 after six years of marriage. A rep for the “Bongos” rapper confirmed the split to PEOPLE, saying, “It’s not based on cheating rumors, it’s been a long time coming.”
Following the filing, and during an Instagram Live the same day, Cardi and Offset exchanged words, leading the former to accuse her of infidelity while she was carrying their child.
Following the Migos artist’s comments, Cardi commented to X, “AND DID !!!!!!”, prompting fans to speculate that the rapper was confirming his accusation.
On X, the “WAP” musician added, “A hurt N—- will do the unthinkable,”
The former couple then announced on September 12 that they had welcomed their third child, a daughter, just weeks after their split.

On October 21, Cardi took to Instagram Live again to describe the details of a prank call she received that sent CPS to her home at 11:00pm local time to check on her and Offset’s kids.
“So I want to make this very fucking clear and I can’t even breathe right now,” she said during the Live, which fans recorded and shared on X. “Mothers—s took s— too far when you mess with my fucking kids .”
Cardi later added during Live, “I promise you this, I’m going to sue CPS for fucking coming to my house at whatever fucking time it is. [I will sue] the person who made this anonymous call.”
When some fans on X texted Cardi about speculation that Offset had called CPS to the house, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper quickly responded to clarify the situation. “It didn’t happen and it has nothing to do with him,” she wrote, adding in another reply: “We were both invited.”
