IIM Kozhikode has revised its admission policy for 2024-25

IIM Kozhikode Admission 2023: Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode has revised its admission policy for 2024-25. for management programs. CAT 2023 exams are scheduled for November 26, 2023. According to the revised policy, the final weightage for CAT exams is 35%, while gender diversity for PGP admissions will have a weightage of 10% and academic diversity 5%. As per the admission policy that was in place till the previous year, both components had a total weightage of 10% for shortlisted candidates.

This year, IIM Kozhikode will follow a three-step selection process for admission to the PG program which includes registration, writing aptitude test shortlisting and personal interview. Final shortlisting will be based on CAT 2023 score and performance of students in WAT and PI sections. The list of shortlisted candidates for the second phase will be released by IIM Kozhikode in the last week of January 2024, while the final merit list will be released in the second week of May 2024.

IIM Kozhikode 2024 Admission Rules

IIM Kozhikode will conduct admissions for the MBA program in three phases. Details of each stage and details of admission policy are given below.

1st stage

As per the above admission policy, candidates who have opted for IIM Kozhikode in their CAT 2023 applications and fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria will receive an email for the online registration process. Only such candidates will be considered for the second level of enrollment. Applying candidates must have at least 60% of the total results in the study.

Phase 2

During the 2nd stage of admission, a shortlist of candidates for each reservation category will be prepared based on the Overall Score Index (AIS) calculated on the basis of the students’ CAT exam performance, their academic performance in classes 10 and 12 and their work experience and gender/academic diversity. Class 10 and 12 percentages will be calculated on the basis of total marks in each subject.

Phase 3

Stage 3 of admission will be a written test and an interview. The WAT and PI exams will be conducted at the institute and based on the results the category wise merit list will be published. Candidates will be admitted on the basis of category wise merit list.
