A gunman is on the run after a man was shot dead in south London this morning.
The man, in his 30s, was found with a gunshot wound at around 4.30am in Catford Broadway, Lewisham.

An investigation into the murder has been launched, but the police have not yet arrested anyone.
Chief Superintendent Trevor Lawry, responsible for policing in the South East, said: “My sympathies and thoughts are with the family and loved ones of this young man who lost his life in very tragic circumstances.
“The incident took place in a busy area of south London and I hope there will be a number of witnesses who I would urge to come forward.
“I know such a shocking incident will cause great concern in the community and I want to reassure residents that we have allocated significant resources to this investigation.
“We also have officers patrolling the local area and I would encourage those who are concerned to speak to them. They are here to help.”
