Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas Celebrate 23rd Wedding Anniversary: ‘May Our Dance Never End’

Catherine-Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas celebrate 23 years as husband and wife!

The actress, 54, shared a heartfelt message on Instagram over the weekend, which featured throwback photos from the couple’s 2000 wedding and other highlights of their relationship over the years.

“Today we celebrate 23 years of marriage❤️ Dear Michael, your Nobel Peace Prize awaits😂😘❤️,” Zeta-Jones wrote to her husband, 79. “I love you… from your dear wife, Gold Star Medal of Honor winner😘 .”

Douglas also shared a post on his Instagram page with a picture of the duo dancing together.

“Happy 23 me too my dear @catherinezetajones,” he captioned his post. “Can’t wait to be 24! Happy anniversary ❤️ #23years.”

Underneath Douglas’ post, Zeta-Jones shared a sweet message to her husband: “I love you baby, may our dance never stop❤️.”

Several friends and fans congratulated the couple on social media, including Martha Stewart, who recalled attending the couple’s wedding more than 20 years ago.

“You had the most beautiful wedding,” Zeta-Jones wrote under the post. “And remember Thanksgiving in [producer] Joel Silver’s home in South Carolina a year ago???”

Besides now celebrating their anniversary and their birthday on the same day in September, Douglas and Zeta-Jones had plenty to toast this year. Back in August, they celebrated their son Dylan’s 23rd birthday by sharing touching posts in his honor.

“Happy Birthday Dylan! May YOUR new year bring you joy, imagination and love,” Douglas wrote on Instagram, signing, “Your biggest fan, Dad.”

And while Zeta-Jones commented “Happy birthday my boyfriend❤️” under her husband’s post, she also shared her own message on her account. The actress, who is also mother to daughter Carys, 20, with Douglas, shared a picture of Dylan as a baby.

“23 years ago today my baby boy @dylan__douglas was born,” she wrote. “He is the gift that keeps on giving, over and over and over and over. I love you my love♥️.”

Douglas is also the father of a son, Cameron, 44, who he shares with ex-wife Diandra Luker.

Last year, Zeta-Jones told PEOPLE that her family life has just been “blessed,” while gushing about her children.

“Both my daughter and Dylan have been incredibly supportive, not only as an actor, but just me, you know,” she said. “I am extremely blessed to have both in my life.”
