CBSE Board Exam 2024 clashing with JEE Main: As per Class 12 Exams and JEE Main April Session Dates Released. CBSE 12th board exams are scheduled to be held from February 15 to April 10, while JEE Main 2024 session 2 will be held between April 1 and 15, 2024. This raises the possibility of a clash in exam dates between CBSE board exams and JEE Main . However, the final CBSE board exam schedule has not been announced yet.
The overlap between CBSE board exams and JEE and NEET is a recurring problem. This scenario has happened on numerous occasions before. In fact, in previous years, several states had to formally request the CBSE to change the exam dates to avoid scheduling conflicts.
Will CBSE 12th Board Exam 2024 clash with JEE Main Session 2?
According to CBSE Controller of Examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj, the board exams are scheduled to last for approximately 55 days and are expected to end by April 10, 2024. An official statement said, “The board has decided to start the 2024 exams from February 15, 2024.” This the announcement was issued by CBSE Controller of Examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj.
If the board sticks to its initial plan of starting board exams from February 15, 2024, there is a possibility of a direct schedule clash between the dates of JEE Main and CBSE board exams. Meanwhile, the JEE Main Session 2 exam will be held between April 1 and 15, 2023.

Last year, many candidates sought postponement of the first session of JEE Main, which was scheduled for January. They cited concerns about the critical exam being scheduled just two weeks before exam dates, which could conflict with practical exams. Hundreds of thousands of candidates have also taken to social media platforms to voice their fears.
Often the theory exam dates do not coincide with the JEE Main exam dates. However, in recent years candidates have expressed concern about the difficulties they face in preparing for both. This is due to the fact that they will be engrossed in their CBSE practice exams, which may challenge them to concentrate on their JEE Main preparation.
