How Claudia Sulewski's Self-Care Journey Led to the Creation of Her Body Care Brand, Cyklar (Exclusive)

The Claudia Sulewski shower is lined with countless small patterns of a bottle of formula and scents, she constantly asks her boyfriend, songwriter Finneas O’Connell, for feedback she likes best.

As the idea for Cyklar began to shape, Sulewski became clear that despite the chaos in her life in public, the care of the body was always her way of connecting with her body at a personal and immediate level. With her brand, she was determined to help the care to make a priority-not for herself, but also for her community.

Through her products, including her signature “Crescent” and “Vanilla Verve” fragrant body and cream washing, she aimed to create high quality, effective products that would strengthen and nurture skin routines and care routine. All products are made of sustainable packaging and are also vegan.

“It’s about learning to put yourself and nurture yourself first, something I wish I had done earlier in my life,” she says. “You have to fill your own well,” she adds. “You can’t just give you so much yourself.”

“The brand is concerned with herself so you can appear as a better friend, a better entrepreneur, a better daughter, a better partner – all these things,” she adds.

Ever since Cyklar launched Sulewski, he has said that it is amazing to hear from both the net and online, the number of people who say, “I used to not care and giving — about showering ever, and now I’m excited about it,” or “Your body washing body has changed the way I think of showers.”

Sulewski adds that because she was a creator for some time, she felt incredibly happy that she had a seat in the first place to watch so many of her favorite brands and colleagues creators grow and develop. She is now with Cyklar and is grateful and honored, which is part of that conversation moving forward.

“I talk about it all the time as the creator of content … It’s so exciting to live in Los Angeles,” she says. “There are so many other creators here, and there is a whole net of us who are going to each other’s events. Looking at five years down the road, Sulewski is still excited and motivating to continue to build Cyklar and creating products that truly make a difference in people’s lives. She is also excited to continue her journey with self -service and follow other passions, including acting and creating content.

“Sharing my life is also a large part of what I do,” she says. “I do this for so long and constantly finding new ways to share my life that feel appropriate during this time. Right now, I am transmitting these monthly videos at the end of each month, and it seems to be a real balance-by making enough of my life while maintaining an approach that is more withdrawn.”

“But I suppose, if I’m still struggling with the same things in five years from a different place in my life, I’ll be happy. I feel so happy to do so many different little things,” he adds.
