CBSE Board Exam 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced important changes in the Class 12 board exam 2023-24. for Commerce stream students. CBSE has issued a notice to principals of CBSE affiliated schools announcing the withdrawal of answer books that have printed tables for the subject of Accountancy. This change will apply from the 2023-24 exam dates. The answer sheet for the class 12 accountancy exam will be the same as the answer books in other subjects.
CBSE announces changes in accounting documents
This announcement was made by the board in a letter addressed to the principals of all CBSE affiliated schools. The pdf notification said, “We are informed that from Examination Board, 2024, CBSE based on feedback received from stakeholders has decided to do away with answer books in which tables were given for the subject of Accountancy. From Examinations-2024, the usual answer books as provided in other subjects in class 12 will also be available in Accounting.”
CBSE has extended the deadline for submission of registration details for class 9 and 11 students
Meanwhile, the Commission has also extended the last date for submission of registration details of Class 9 and Class 11 students appearing in the 2023-24 examinations. The last deadline for the submission of information for the enrollment of students in the 9th and 11th grades without a late fee has been extended until October 25, 2023. The notification states: “In view of the various complaints received by the schools, the schedule for the submission of information for the enrollment of students in the 9th, 11th class, 2023-24 has been extended.”
CBSE Scholarship for Unmarried Girls 2023 Registration is ongoing
CBSE has started the registration for scholarship for unmarried girls. Students can apply for the new scholarship and renewal 2023 online at the official website of the board at cbse.gov.in. CBSE implements this merit scheme to provide scholarships to deserving unmarried female students and efforts of parents to promote education among girls and to provide incentives to deserving students. The scholarship amount will be Rs.500 per month.
