CBSE Board Exam Form 2024 Submission for Private Candidates
CBSE Board Exam Form 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has today announced the examination form submission dates for Class 10th and Class 12th candidates of private schools. According to the published notification, the CBSE Board Exam 2024 form can be filled and submitted between 12 September and 11 October 2023. They can fill the form and pay the application fees online at cbse.gov.in.
The notification also stated that an additional late fee of Rs 2,000 will have to be paid for applications submitted from October 12 to 19, 2023. CBSE Board Exam 2024 is expected to be held in February/March/April 2024 for private candidate. The board exam will be conducted according to the curriculum available on the official website.
What is the list of categories of private candidates who can appear in CBSE board exams 2024?
The CBSE notification said, “The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the examinations for the following categories of private students in the month of February/March/April – 2024 along with the annual board examinations 2024.” Check the details below:
- Candidates who were declared necessary to repeat the exam in 2023-23
- Those who are allotted in the section in 2023 board main exam
- Those placed in the First Chance section in August 2023
- Unsuccessful candidates 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022
- Fainted candidates in 2023 who want to improve their performance in one or more subjects
- Registered candidates of 2022 and 2023 who want to take an additional course
- Female candidates who are bona fide residents of Delhi (must submit their bona fide certificate)
- Physically Handicapped Candidates residing in Delhi and of age to appear for Class 10th Examination (Will have to upload Medical Certificate)

CBSE Board Fees 2024
Private candidates appearing for five CBSE class 10th and 12th exams have to pay Rs 1500 as registration fee. Those from Nepal will have to pay the same fee, but candidates taking the exam in other countries will have to pay Rs 10,000. For each additional subject, Indian candidates have to pay Rs 300, while those from Nepal and other countries will have to pay Rs 1000 and Rs 2000 respectively. The fee structure for the exam in the department is the same for additional subjects. For practical tests, candidates from India and Nepal have to pay Rs 150 per subject, while those from other countries have to pay Rs 350 per subject.
