CELEBRITY MasterChef fans were left with a sour taste in their mouths after Go Compare star Wynne Evans was named this year’s champion.
Viewers of the BBC show were delighted to see Wynne walk away as the winner – but had major complaints about the actual format of the TV final.

After watching dozens of episodes of Celebrity MasterChef, fans were furious when they realized the final episode of the show was only 30 minutes long.
As a result, the show went through finalists Wynne, Amy Walsh and Luca Bish preparing impressive three-course meals.
And those at home just wanted more.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan moaned: “Unfortunately I didn’t listen last time, the finale is always too short – can easily be long winded..disappointed.”
Another added: “Shouldn’t the #CelebrityMasterChef final be an hour, seems pretty rushed for half an hour? Definitely should be an hour!”
And someone else said: “I can’t believe the finale is only going to be half an hour tonight, after watching all these weeks, what an anticlimax.”
Wynne, 51, walked away with the coveted Celebrity MasterChef gong after impressing the judges with a delicious three-course Welsh-inspired meal.
The operatic tenor found himself in the kitchen against Emmerale actress Amy and Love Island star Luca.
But it was his traditional meal of starters of tuna tartare, lamb on toast and a classic Welsh tea dessert that saw him take home the trophy.
Amy made Prawns with Indian Spices, Roast Lamb with Indian Spices and Saffron Pudding Cake.
Luca, meanwhile, served an appetizer of clams, a traditional Italian main dish of tortellini, and a dessert of panna cotta with whiskey liqueur.
But even though their dishes impressed judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode, Wynne won.
Gregg said, “Wynne gives us theater. I’ve never seen a celebrity cook like him before. I’m not sure we ever will again!”
Wynne described his time on Celebrity MasterChef as “wonderful”.
He celebrated by singing the hymn Cwm Rhondda (Guide Me O Thou Great Redeemer) while waving his cup in the air.
