CBSE Board Exams 2024: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a notification regarding filling LOC for CBSE Board Exams 2024. As per the notification issued, the board has stated that it will not extend the last date for filling submit correct details while submitting LOC for CBSE Board Exams 2024.
The board directed schools to ensure that the information is correct before submission. According to the board, it is the school’s responsibility to upload accurate student data. Last date to apply for LOC is September 18, 2023, with no late fees and up to September 19 with late fees. Students can check the official notification for filling LOC at cbse.gov.in.

Notice from CBSE regarding lack of extension of last date for filling data/information
The board has clearly stated that the correction in question will not be considered in any way after submission of the LOC. In addition, no window for correcting the uploaded data will be available. The official notice said, “The staff engaged in filling the details should also be made aware of all the guidelines mentioned in the said circular to avoid mistakes. Parents may also be briefed on the importance of correct details and the consequences if wrong details are provided.”

Wrong subjects in LOC will lead to cancellation of candidature
Earlier, CBSE advised all school authorities and students to fill the subjects accurately in the ‘List of Candidates’. If they fail to do so, they will not be allowed to appear for CBSE 10th and 12th exams 2024. The commission collects the names of class 10th and 12th students from the school authorities through LOC form for holding board exams. CBSE claimed that students are showing irresponsibility and submitting incorrect information in the candidate form.
