According to the United States Geological Survey, a magnitude 6.5 earthquake occurred at a depth of approximately 70 kilometers off the Pacific coast of El Salvador on Tuesday night, July 19, 2023. According to Ministry reports of the Environment of El Salvador, so far there have been no reports of damage, and they have not issued a tsunami warning either. But we all know that the location is a big damage because of the strong earthquake. A Twitter page called @huearthquakes made a post in which they wrote that “on July 19, 2023 Intipuca El Salvador was hit by a 6.5 magnitude earthquake. The earthquake was of magnitude VIMMI. And so far no causal links have been observed.”
According to experts, the controls were carried out in the coastal town of La Libertad, near the capital San Salvador. And the municipal board also reported that no damage has yet been observed. And according to the US Geographic Survey, the epicenter was located 43 miles (70 kilometers) and 27 miles (43 kilometers) south of Intipuca, El Salvador.
