Chahatt Khanna married Bharat Narsinghani in December 2006. They separated a few months after their marriage. Chahat accused Narsinghani of physically abusing her.
Chahat then married Shah Rukh Mirza’s son Farhan Mirza on February 8, 2013. They have two daughters, Zohar and Amaila. In 2018, Chahat filed for divorce from Mirza on the grounds that Mirza had sexually and mentally harassed her.

Chahat started her acting career with the film Film in 2005. Later, she acted in films like 7½ Phere..More Than a wedding, Ek Main Ek Tum, Thank You and Prassthanam.
She made her television debut with the TV series “Hero – Bhakti Hi Shakti Hai” in 2005. Some of her TV series include “Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan”, “Kaajjal”, “Bade Achhe Lagte Hain” and “Qubool Hai”.

In November 2018, Chahatt Khanna made headlines when she accused her ex-husband Farhan Mirza of sexual assault.
Named in case of fraudster Sukesh Chandrashekhar
In September 2022, Chahatt Khanna reportedly met with con man Sukesh Chandrashekhar inside the jail and accepted cash and valuable gifts. Con man Sukesh Chandrashekhar is lodged in Tihar jail in connection with a Rs 200 crore scam. Actresses Nikki Tamboli, Sophia Singh and Arusha Patil are also involved in the same case. In February 2023, she reportedly received a legal notice for Rs 100 crore from con man Sukesh, who claimed that she had damaged his reputation after she spoke publicly against him. In January 2023, the actress went against him in court and in the media, revealing that Sukesh proposed to her in 2018 when she met him in Tihar jail and gave her Rs 2 lakh as a kickback; however, according to Chahatt, Sukesh later started blackmailing her on the pretext of her visiting Tihar. Chahatt said,
I didn’t want anyone to know that I was in Tihar jail. I was also worried that it would affect my marriage, so I agreed to give them the money. Apart from that, it did take a toll on my marriage and my husband and I separated. Maybe I should have called the police. But one thing after another, I just wanted to get away from it”
