warn! Contains spoilers for Chapter 116 of the “Chainsaw Man” manga! chainsaw man is no stranger to crazy scenes, but the next chapter promises to feature the craziest yet. Series author Tatsuki Fujimoto often thinks outside the box, giving readers striking scenes and images, such as Chainsaw Man riding a shark in a typhoon and a line of dead astronauts praying to a dark demon. But the powers of the manga’s new protagonist, Asa Mitaka, give Fujimoto the ability to transcend any of the crazy moments he contained in Part 1.
In Chapter 116, Asa finds a possible way to escape the Infinite Aquarium of Eternal Demons that she and Denji are trapped in. After seeing Denji attempt to collect unlimited money by exploiting the repetitive nature of the aquarium’s looping space, Asa decides to join him and collect enough money to purchase the aquarium, making it her property. Since she can only use the War Demon’s powers on things she deems to be hers, she should also be able to turn the aquarium into a weapon after doing so. The chapter ends with her trying to do just that, trying to turn the aquarium into a giant spear.
If this works, it would be the craziest application of her powers yet.when she first demonstrated her powers chainsaw man In episode 98, War Demon turns his teacher’s spinal cord into a sword and his classmate’s severed hand into a literal grenade, both of which are great examples of Fujimoto’s clever and quirky sense of humor. Later, Asha herself was able to transform her school uniform into a powerful sword when fighting her friend Yuko. But if the promise of the Infinite Aqua Spear delivers on the concept’s potential, all of these weapons will seem mundane.
Asa’s aquarium spear might be the wildest thing in Chainsaw Man
Considering that the aquarium is infinitely long under the power of the Eternal Demon, the spear that Asa transformed into could also be infinitely large and therefore incomprehensible to a certain extent. But wielding this infinite weapon, she might be able to drive the eternal evil from its hiding place, pitting the infinite against the infinite. Or, even if the weapon isn’t infinitely long and is just a spear made from a regular aquarium, this is still the largest weapon Asha has ever created, and the first one she’s created with a human in it. This could mean she could control the spear from the inside and pilot it like a mecha, which would also be pretty cool.
No matter what direction Fujimoto decides to take the Aquarium Spear, it’s certainly the craziest weapon to appear in the series to date.the fact is chainsaw man Being able to constantly surpass yourself and go to unfamiliar places is one of the reasons why fans are so enthusiastic about it. If Asa’s aquarium spear is just a precursor to wild things to come, chainsaw manThe second part might even be better than the first.
