Chaka Khan’s Daughter Claims Diddy Once ‘Got In’ Her Mom’s Face, Had His Security ‘Jump’ Her Teen Brother

Sean “Diddy” Combs is being called out again, this time by Chaka Khan’s daughter, Indira Milini Khan.

Indira exposed her mother’s alleged experience with Combs by commenting on the disgraced music mogul’s apology video on Instagram on Tuesday, May 21. Combs, 54, originally posted the video on Sunday, May 19, after disturbing footage of him physically assaulting his then-girlfriend, singer Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, surfaced on CNN in 2016.

“I’m glad this is happening to you,” Indira, 51, wrote under Combs’ apology video, before detailing the alleged incident between him and Chaka, 71.

“You got in my mother’s face and publicly belittled her by yelling and screaming like a madman,” she wrote.

Indira added that Combs’ security guard allegedly “jumped in” when her brother, now 45-year-old Damien Holland, tried to intervene. Holland was 19 at the time, Indira said.

PEOPLE has reached out to representatives for Combs for comment. Chaka’s rep had no comment when contacted by PEOPLE.

On Friday, May 17, CNN released surveillance footage of Combs’ attack on Ventura.

The video shows Ventura, now 37, leaving his hotel room at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles and walking down the hall to the elevator. As she waits for the elevator, Combs runs after her down the hall, a towel around his waist. Once with Ventura, he was seen grabbing her by the neck and pushing her to the floor. He then kicks her and grabs her purse and suitcase as she lies motionless. He briefly drags her towards the room before letting her go and leaving.

Ventura is seen picking up the hotel phone when Combs returns and appears to corner her. He sits down on a chair and picks up an object, throwing it at her.

Two days after the video was released, Combs took to Instagram to apologize for his actions.

“It’s so hard to think about the darkest times in your life,” he said in part, adding that he takes “full responsibility for my actions in that video.”

“Appalled. I was appalled when I did it, I’m appalled now. I went and sought professional help, went to therapy, went to rehab. I had to ask God for his grace and mercy. I’m so sorry, but I I’m committed to being a better person every day,” Combs continued.

He said he was “not asking for forgiveness” and was “genuinely sorry”.

Ventura detailed the assault in her civil suit against Combs, which was filed in November. In the lawsuit, she alleges that Combs paid the hotel $50,000 to obtain the tape. The two reached a settlement a day after Ventura’s lawsuit was filed.

On Tuesday, May 21, Combs was sued by model Crystal McKinney, who accused him of allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting her in 2003. She is seeking unspecified damages and claims Combs defamed her after the alleged incident.

In addition to McKinney and Ventura, Combs was sued for sexual harassment and assault by three other women and one man. He denied the previous accusations in a December post on Instagram.
