Profession
Chaoba Devi Oinam made her debut in the sports world by winning her first Grand Slam title at the 2014 Asian Games in South Korea. In an interview, she talked about her experience by reflecting on her sports journey,
My first Asian Games was in 2014 in South Korea. Despite our best efforts, we failed to win a medal. I worked harder in 2018, but we missed the podium again. These setbacks are frustrating, to say the least. However, the valuable experiences and lessons learned from these games have shaped me and my team, strengthening our determination and strategy. This year, our efforts culminated in a bronze medal, Idian’s first ever result in women’s sepak sepak takraw at the Asian Games. These experiences have provided me with insights and skills that I believe will play a key role in the challenges ahead. As I prepare for the upcoming National Games and Asian Games, I am more committed than ever to improving my performance, winning more medals, and bringing honor and recognition to the country I love so much. ” Google email box
