Earlier this afternoon, he was seen smiling as they were driven from his London home Clarence House to the palace.
Harry and Charles reunited at Clarence House this afternoon after the prince left across the Atlantic following Charles’ cancer diagnosis.
The meeting was Harry and Charles’ first face-to-face meeting in 16 months.
A palace source told the Telegraph: “Charles is in his usual good form in every way.
“He’s just a little frustrated that his condition has affected not only his plans, but others as well.”
Harry landed at Heathrow at lunchtime after flood warnings and stormy weather in California reportedly delayed his travels.
Charles told Harry personally of his cancer diagnosis in what is believed to be a warm phone conversation.
A convoy of two black SUVs drove the prince from the airport’s VIP Windsor suite to the royal residence.
Harry is not believed to have met his father face-to-face since the late Queen’s funeral in September 2022.
The prince did not see his family after the coronation on May 6, despite going to Buckingham Palace.
And he and Charles did not see each other during Harry’s last visit to the UK on the anniversary of the Queen’s death last September.
Charles was at Balmoral at the time, and the meeting prevented their diary conflict.
It is not yet known where Harry will stay while visiting Charles in the UK.
Last year, Charles ordered Harry and Meghan to leave Frogmore Cottage, their home in Windsor.
The Sussexes now reportedly need an “official invitation” to stay with the royal family on a “protected estate”.
When Harry returned to the UK last September for a charity event on the anniversary of the Queen’s death, his request to stay at the royal estate was refused.
Harry instead stayed at the hotel on his trip to attend the annual WellChild Awards in London.
He reportedly asked to stay at Windsor Castle, allowing him to visit the Queen’s grave in St George’s Chapel.
Royal sources told the Telegraph that Harry could be accommodated at a crown estate when possible – but the palace must be given sufficient warning before a visit.
Charles reportedly wants Prince Andrew to move into Frogmore Cottage after Harry and Meghan hand over the keys.
Andrew, who is no longer in official duties, shares the sprawling 30-room Royal Lodge in Windsor with only his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.
King Charles is rumored to want Andrew, who has been given a long-term lease of Royal Lodge by the Queen Mother, to leave the £30million home as part of plans to downsize the monarchy.
But Andrew has forked out £7million of his own money to repair the roof – and is reportedly refusing to move out because of them.
What we know so far:
The Duke reportedly suspects he may never return if he moves to Frogmore while the Royal Lodge is being repaired.
Andrew’s daughter Princess Eugenie currently lives at Frogmore Cottage with her husband and children.

THE KING’S BATTLE FOR HEALTH
Charles informed Harry of his diagnosis over the phone, in what is believed to be a warm conversation, before Buckingham Palace made its announcement at 6pm on Monday.
It remains unclear when the king, 75, will be able to resume full public appearances.
Yesterday, the monarch started a schedule of regular treatments and postponed his frontline duties according to the doctor’s advice.
Last year His Majesty undertook an incredible 516 engagements, including 94 trips abroad.
However, King Charles will continue his weekly audiences with the Prime Minister, but may have to cut back on medical advice.
In the meantime, the rest of the royal family, including the Queen, will continue with a full schedule of public duties.
He is also likely to take on additional duties on behalf of the king while he is not in action.
Yesterday’s announcement came just eight days after His Majesty was released from hospital following a “corrective procedure” for an enlarged prostate.
But a “separate issue of concern” was noticed during his stay – and tests continued to detect cancer.
A Buckingham Palace spokesman said: “Subsequent diagnostic tests identified a form of cancer.
“His Majesty began a schedule of regular treatments today, during which time doctors have advised him to postpone his public duties.
“During this period, His Majesty will continue to carry out government business and official paperwork as usual.
“The King is grateful to his medical team for the quick intervention, which was possible thanks to his recent hospital procedure.
“He remains completely positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible.
“His Majesty has decided to share his diagnosis to prevent speculation and in the hope of helping to increase public understanding for those around the world who are affected by cancer.”
How Charles bravely disclosed his diagnosis to help others
KING Charles has bravely broken royal protocol by sharing his cancer diagnosis.
The senior royals have been tight-lipped about their health battles in the past.
The last senior member of the royal family to be diagnosed with cancer was Charles’ grandfather George VI.
A heavy smoker, George had his left lung removed in September 1951 due to “structural abnormalities”, a few months before his death.
The “abnormalities” were actually life-threatening cancers, but the public never learned of George’s ordeal with cancer.
Buckingham Palace said Charles wanted to share his cancer diagnosis to encourage “public understanding” for cancer sufferers around the world.
