Charles Vallow News

In Boise, Idaho, Lori Vallow Daybell is now on trial for the alleged murders of her two children, Joshua “J.J.” Vallow, 7, and Tylee Ryan, 16, as well as for plotting to kill Tammy Daybell, the first wife of her fifth husband.

But Lori is also being accused of other things. In Arizona, she is also facing charges related to the passing of her fourth husband. Charles Vallow, 62, was shot and killed by Lori’s brother Alex Cox on July 11, 2019, in Lori’s Chandler, Arizona, home. Prior to his own death many months later, Cox claimed self-defense but was never charged.

Cassandra Ynclan, a Chandler murder detective, testified during Lori’s ongoing trial that Lori didn’t exhibit any emotion at the scene where Charles was killed. She also told the cops that the couple was divorcing and that they were apart at the time.

She didn’t respond all that much, according to Ynclan. “When she learned that Charles had passed away, she said she already knew. She had claimed to have been there when it had already occurred. She had a serene, emotionless appearance. She had a moment of laughter,” Ynclan continued.

In connection with Charles’ death, Lori is currently facing a murder conspiracy accusation in the state of Arizona. All charges against her have been met with a not guilty plea.

As Lori and Tylee were being brought to the police station, Ynclan said, “She was calm.” “Unemotional. Not upset, I’d say. The topic of discussion was Tylee, her school, and her future goals. She approached the subject with an almost casual air.

Chad Daybell, Lori’s fifth husband, is accused of killing J.J., Tylee, and Tammy and has pleaded not guilty; however, he has never been accused of anything related to Charles’ passing.

In September 2019, just a few months after Charles was killed, J.J. and Tylee vanished. On October 19 of the same year, Tammy, Chad’s first wife, passed away in the house they shared. Two weeks later, on November 5, Lori and Chad got married in Hawaii. Chad was an author who wrote about religious end-of-the-world scenarios.

In his Arizona home, where he shared a residence with his wife of less than two weeks, Cox, Lori’s brother, passed away on December 12, 2019, from what the authorities have ruled to be natural causes. Authorities exhumed Tammy’s body for an autopsy the same month they declared her death suspicious.

Authorities made a horrifying finding after Lori and Chad repeatedly avoided being questioned by police about the whereabouts of the children and the series of unexplained deaths that surrounded them.
